Your Flip Flops are not helping you

Flip Flops might be cool for the beach but they are not designed for walking around on hot city streets.

Beware.
Flip flops cause back, neck, and foot pain.
They may be comfortable to wear while strolling along a sandy beach, but they do not offer enough support or protection on the hard surfaces such as city streets, amusement parks or shopping malls. They are designed with a flat bottom and do not support in the arch of your foot while you are pounding the pavement.

Typically on an average day you take about 5,000 to 8,000 steps, that a lot of wear and tear on your feet if you don’t have proper support. I'm sure you have also head this from your podiatry doctor.

The GOOD NEWS is: There are some flip flops that offer more support. We found the best ones are made by Orthaheel. They are affordable and come in several cute styles.
